LR-308 Lowers are the heart of the rifle, housing the fire control components, mounting your recoil assembly, stock, and buffer. Thanks to the modular design the LR-308 platform is a proven and battle-tested design that certainly lives up to the durability and standards of its operating nations. The LR-308 is a derivative of the AR-10 and is not directly compatible with AR-10 Style Upper Receivers. LR-308 lowers incorporate a 'DPMS' style cut in the lower 's buffer tower and upper receiver. This receiver set features a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail section on the top for mounting optics and iron sights a brass deflector and a standard forward assist section.

This Live Free Armory LF308 Matched Receiver Set is made from 6061-T6 Billet aluminum. This seamless matching set was designed to fit perfectly together. The modern design and tungsten cerakote finish make this set resistant to corrosion which keeps it looking good on and off the range. This set is high-quality, durable, and looks remarkable.

Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum - 6061-T6 Aluminum resembles the strength of the more common 7075-T6 aluminum found on original AR-15/M4 pattern rifles. 6061-T6 has excellent strength and workability and was adopted for use in the commercial AR-15 market as it showed high strength and corrosion resistance during firearms testing. Finish:Cerakote FDE - Cerakoted firearms parts are finished in a 'ceramic' coating that increases the resistance against parts wear and increase abrasion and corrosion resistance, the resulting product has incredible durability and hardness on top of the original metal.

Caliber Compatibility: This upper receiver will work with standard battle rifle cartridges such as .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, .243 Winchester, .338 Federal, and .300WSM.

Anti-Rotation Tab Compatibility: This upper receiver will NOT allow the installation of handguards with anti-rotation tabs incorporated into their design.

Features: Accepts DPMS, Magpul PMAG, or SR25. This Receiver Set also comes with an oversized integrated trigger guard.
